For anyone who has been there the past few years, did any of the parkd reach capacity and stop letting guests in? and if so at what time of day did they reach capacity.

We arrived at the world on July 4th 2009 -- Checked into POFQ at about 4 and went to the MK. No problem getting in at that time -- crazy lots of people - but lines did not seem too bad. Watched the fireworks from Liberty Square/frontierland area -- absolutely a mob -- but we had a great time. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Just know what you are getting yourself into and you will be fine

Thanks

Make sure you get into the park you want to early enough in the day. I usually go take a little disco nap in the afternoon and return to the parks that night. The 4th of July is NOT the time to do that.

Disney guarantees WDW Resort guests admission to one of the parks at any given time. So, if the MK reaches capacity in the evening, you may be redirected to another park. So, make sure you get there early enough.

We will be there July 4th. Which park would you recommend, either for least crowded or best entertainment on that day?

The Magic Kingdom July 3rd/4th fireworks are *astounding*. Perimeters *and* double-shots - they're shot off all the way around MK, along with a "twin" set from the main Seven Seas lagoon island out in front.

With that said, MK is usually most crowded - and will get to capacity early (usually about 11am - 12 noon) up until about late afternoon, when some guests start park-hopping, but, later in the evening - closer to parade/fireworks time, it fills up again.

I've seen 4th of July's at MK with over 75,000 people in the park.

Wanna see the parade? Grab a spot two hours early *at least*.
