As a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a Disney fan since birth, it is no surprise that I am fascinated by the audio/visual animatronics found all over Disney World. After my trip to the world last week, I have been inspired to begin researching the various technology used around the parks as far as animatronics -- from it's history to it's current implementation. I am not looking for a general overview, but I'd love to learn the actual science and mathematics behind it all. I one day hope to become an Imagineer, but in the meantime, I'd love to learn as much as possible. Are there any books or websites that get into the details of Walt Disney's animatronic designs? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :mickey:
