Apr. 25, 2003 – The 10th Annual “International Flower & Garden Festival” began in Epcot at WDW. (Ran through June 8th)
Apr. 25, 2003 – Disney’s Buena Vista International/MGM film “It Runs in the Family” was released in U.S. theaters.
Apr. 25, 2004 – Disney’s ABC Family Original Movie “Brave New Girl” aired for the first time.
Apr. 25, 2005 – Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Elephant Care Team were deeply saddened when 26-year-old first time mother Ibala went into labor and the calf passed away due to complications.
Apr. 25, 2006 – The Buckinghams performed the first of a 3-day engagement at Epcot as part of the Flower Power Concert Series.
Apr. 25, 2007 – Zagat survey announced the release of its first “Walt Disney World Insider’s Guide.” Based on the experiences of 4,841 avid Disney-goers, the guide rates and reviews all 6 of Disney’s Orlando theme parks.
Apr. 25, 2007 – The “Project of Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future” exhibit opened in Spaceship Earth in Epcot at WDW.
Apr. 25, 2007 – The “Hannah Montana” episode “You Are So Sueable To Me” aired for the first time on the Disney Channel.
Apr. 25, 2008 – Michael Eisner, ho as Disney’s CEO between 1984 and 2005 oversaw its massive growth into an entertainment giant, was honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
Apr. 25, 2009 – The Walt Disney Classics Collection released a new limited edition (750) sculpture “Space Suit Figment: Journey into Imagination” at the Art of Disney Store in Epcot.
