View Full Version : Will I be teased for wearing Jorts to the parks?

The original Jorts thread is three years old today.

The Jorts thread now needs a ticket to enter the parks.

However, the Jorts thread cannot accumulate FastPasses as that is no longer acceptable behavior.

The Jorts thread always goes to the 2nd showing of Fantasmic because the wait time is only about 10 minutes and it doesn't like long waits.

The Jorts thread likes to ride Midway Mania, but only late in the evening when most other threads are waiting in that long line for the 1st Fantasmic.

The Jorts thread has never made an ADR and eats lunch/dinner wherever it wants, just at non-typical times.

The Jorts thread always rides the Resort Monorail when leaving the Magic Kingdom.

The Jorts thread does not like Boarin', well just because.

The Jorts thread also does not like Festival of the Lion King, but adores Beauty and the Beast.

The Jorts thread was once teased by CMs for wearing a Disneyland shirt to WDW. That wasn't very nice.

The Jorts thread sometimes wanders over to Universal and then wonders why.

The Jort thread doesn't miss Horizons but does miss Mister Toad.

There. That should do it.

Oh no, jorts thread is back! Jorts Redux. Jorts are best when worn with a fanny pack.

Same thing happened to me! That thread made my fiance stop wearing jorts! To this day I have never seen him wear them again!

Now if there was Zuborts (zubaz shorts) that would make my collection complete.

It's Jorts Reloaded! The second highly anticipated and grossly inferior second post in the Jorts Trilogy.

I am so lost and have no idea what said previous "jorts thread" is about, but just reading this thread cracks me up!

Someone please clarify...what exactly are Jorts?

Are they any jean shorts or a specific style? I'm asking because jeans and jean shorts are pretty much all I wear.

Aren't jorts cut-off shorts from jean pants? Not regularly made jean shorts? Where I live, no one wears anything but jean shorts.

Apparently, in the world of fashion, the 80's/90's are making a comeback.

Brightly colored pants and crazy plaids and stripes together...

This is how I feel about that: :ack:

Jorts are okay under ONE condition: They are shorter than knee length but longer than crotch length AND they are worn by a female under the age of 30.

Denim overalls are still being sold too, but unless you are a farmer, I wouldn't advocate wearing them either. :D

If you go to an SEC school, you ridicule University of Florida fans who attend football games wearing jorts. This was told to me by my oldest son, who graduated from Alabama and, even today, dresses up even to watch a game at a sports bar.

On the other end of the spectrum, would I be teased for wearing coat and tails? Or would it only be acceptable if the tux were made of denim (a "jux," I suppose)?
