:( :thedolls: My DH, just pulled the plug on our trip for my nieces Birthday. We werent really sure we could go, but I thought he would agree (since he always does),but this time he said we cant go...

I do understand the reasons he said not this time
1. gas: about $200 round trip
2. tickets: x5 over $500.00
3. hotel: at least $300
4. SPOILED: I JUST GOT BACK :D
5. FOOD: at least another $300.(if not more)

and all this is for only a 3 day 2 night trip..

I think i will wait until Xmas and make it a longer trip with more time to plan.

See im a good wife I understand how things are. He just better not expect a hot dinner for a while  lol.. I cant really complain he always says yes ...

I think waiting for the end of the year and a longer trip will be well worth the wait. But...I totally get where your coming from.

LOL, your DH sounds like mine. Although we live a lot farther away. He usually agrees when I ask, but has been known to strike down a trip or two- the nerve! ;)

LOL one time a few years ago I wanted to go out to Disneyland so we could see that Summer Nights-tastic show where Dumbo was flying around the castle. He said no. I tried everything. I kept showing him online videos of Dumbo flying around. "I don't care," he said, "I'm not spending all that money just for that."

I said, "Ok. Well can I go?" :thedolls:;)

Utlimately I did not get my way. But, he has been agreeable to lots of other trips. I do think cutting off the hot meals is a good plan.:) I like how you think!

Luckily for me my DH loves WDW as much as I do and hasn't struck down any trips yet. With the prices of airfare so far this year it's a good thing we got free dining or it might've been a no-go for our September trip.

I talked DH into cancelling our June trip and waiting a whole year before we went back to save money. Then, I got the shakes from Mickey withdrawals and booked us again. I couldn't get our original room, but it'll still be at Disney. So, June trip is back on!
