Where to board friendship boats at World Showcase?

Where do you board the friendship boats that cross the World Showcase lagoon at Epcot? I have never noticed the launch or the boats filled with people on our previous trips. Are these boats connected to the waterway that leads from Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk area?

1- There are 4 docks in WS...
Near:
Mexico
Canada
Germany
Morocco

2- Nope. Different set of Friendships entirely.
Those load/unload just outside the park at Epcot's International Gateway area.

The boats within the Lagoon are internal transportation around the World Showcase. You can board at the Showcase Plaza (closest to Future World, near the Duffy Meet & Greet, the other closer to Canada), near Germany and near Morocoo.

However, it is almost always faster to walk, especially when there is a line to board the boats.
