Can anyone tell me which characters appear at which character breakfasts/dinners at DLR? My kids are a little bit older (10 and 5 year old boys) and I think we're pretty much done with Pooh, but still like Mickey and the characters we usually see at Chef Mickey's at WDW. I know places sometimes switch out characters. I can't seem to find a whole lot of good info on DLR at all on the internet - not like I can for WDW. Any info would be appreciated! We were planning on doing just one character meal when we are out there. Anyone have a favorite one? Thanks!

These are from the Disney website...

PCH Grill with Mickey and friends at the Paradise Pier Hotel

Goofy's Kitchen with Goofy and friends at the Disneyland Hotel http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland-hotel/goofys-kitchen/

The Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park Minnie and friends http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/plaza-inn/

Storytellers Cafe hosted by Chip & Dale at the Grand Californian Hotel http://disneyland.disney.go.com/grand-californian-hotel/storytellers-cafe/

PCH Grill, Plaza Inn and Storytellers Cafe are character dining for breakfast only. Goofy's Kitchen does a breakfast/brunch and a dinner. There is also Ariels Grotto dining with the princesses at Caifornia Adventure Park.

From our experience, our favorite is Storytellers Cafe. They have a great buffet as well as an option to order off of the menu instead. The other we tried is the Plaza Inn with Minnie. Great character interaction.... more of a limited buffet. Not as many items as Storytellers Cafe. The good thing with Plaza Inn is you can make reservations prior to the park opening and be done with breakfast in time for rope drop.

I am stll wanting to try PCH Grill for breakfast. Have done Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. Have not done Ariels Grotto since my DD was younger and into the princesses. She loves animals so we always go to Storytellers Cafe for that.

Goofy's Kitchen is our favorite - you take a pic with Goofy or Pluto out front. And then there is a good variety of characters - chip/dale, a princess, minnie, geppeto, mulan, and others that I can't remember off the top of my head. But seeing Goofy is a hit!

The Plaza Inn for breakfast also seemed to have a good variety and it is nice to be in the park. My son was thrilled with Captain Hook!

Favorites are PCH for breakfast and Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. I'm not a fan of buffets but these are the two I frequent when traveling with children or new visitors to DL.

Have fun. :chipdale:
