Extra hours with friends

We are heading to the world in April. My family will be staying onsite while our friends will be offsite. Will we all be able to enjoy Extra magic hours one night or will our friends be asked to leave the park?

It is my understanding that you have to show a resort room key in order to do any of the attractions during EMH, so, no, your friend would not be able to participate with you.

Sorry, but your friends won't (or shouldn't if the CMs are following the rules) be able to see any attractions with you during Extra Magic Hours. When I was there in January, every CM was asking to see my resort ID. EMH is just for Disney Resort guests.

Your friends will, however, be allowed to spend money during EMH if they would like.

To get on any attraction during EMH you need to show your Key to the Kingdom card.

I know you are questioning night time EMH. But while we were there we went to early EMH at MK, no one asked for anything. I got keys for all the kids because I was told they would ask for them. Maybe it was because we came by bus and parking lot is not open at that time???? :confused:

The reason they didn't ask once you were in the park for the morning hours was because you used your resort room keys to get into the park. At that point the only people in the park were resort guests.

Nope never asked. Our tickets were not on our room keys.
