MK opening ceremony

Years ago MK often used to open to the public (not EMH) before the published time on days that would be busy. I understand from another thread that, though this is rare these days, it does sometimes still happen. Is this true, and if it does still open early, what happens about the ceremony? Does it happen when the park DOES open, when it SHOULD open, or not at all? And, if it is still the case that the park sometimes opens early, is there a website or something where you can find if its going to happen?

Don't expect it to happen.

If it ever does, they'd do the Rope Drop Show earlier in the morning.
It may not be the "full" Show that day.
There is no way to find out in advance.
But again, this would be very unusual.
