Coronado Springs - complimentary upgrades?

Has anyone ever received any complimentary upgrades at this resort?

Stayed here three times and never have.

When we stayed there in November we had requested a specific building through MJ and at online check in. When we got there we were very far away from the requested room so I asked about changing. At the desk, I also mentioned that it was DH's bday and his first trip and they ended up moving us to the building we had originally requested. The view wasn't upgraded (though it was nice) but they put us in a King bed room instead of 2 queens at no extra cost.
