I take my nephews to our local high school basketball games because they are both starting to play and like to watch the big guys.

After a recent game I let them shoot baskets for awhile then we packed up to go. As we were leaving, it was still pretty crowded. Someone on my left said goodbye so I turned to speak to them. Just at that moment, as we were still walking, Mikey decided to cut in front of me from my right and undercut me.

Of course I was carrying a bunch of stuff so I fell on my right shoulder and didn't catch myself. I took my first ever trip to the ER and found out that I had broken my shoulder.

The good news is that I can spend more time on Intercot because there are a lot of things I can't do right now. There's always an up side!;)

5 year olds are notorious for doing that. Mine has almost taken me out as well. I won't even mention how many close calls my nose has had during head butt incidents. ;)

Hope you mend quickly and enjoy your extra time on Intercot!

I have an appointment with an orthopedic specialist on Thursday for my knee. My 6 year old niece took me out a few weeks ago! I know how it feels!!! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Ouch! Hope you feel better. As a mom of 2 boys, I've been in the crossfire over the years too. Alot of times I got hit- inadvertantly- in the face by someone, some thing, or some appendage. Anyway never a fun thing. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

When my ds8 was about 18 months he head butted me in the mouth and knocked my front tooth out. It cost me $4,500 for an implant:eek:

I hope you feel better soon:mickey:
