Taking the character aspect away, and basing it solely on food, which do you prefer? Breakfast or Dinner at 'Ohana??

Overall, I prefer dinner at 'Ohana. It's a unique and special Disney experience. Breakfast is good, too, but dinner is extra special.

Breakfast is good, but standard fare. Dinner is definitely unique so I'd say dinner.

I've honestly never gotten all the hoopla over the dinner at 'Ohana, but judging from the comments on these boards over the years, I'm definitely in the minority.

Now the breakfast we love, and besides next door at Kona, it's our favorite breakfast on property. Yes it's standard breakfast fare (not a huge variety in breakfast anyway), but we really enjoy eating breakfast out and think the food is really good here. And I love the juice!

YES!

I love them all! Anytime of the day, too!
including Boma!

Try both experiences for yourself, I suggest Dinner first!

Based on food - dinner for sure! The dinner food is amazing as is the dessert. The breakfast is bland and boring, basic stuff you could get anywhere else for far cheaper. It's the characters and atmosphere you pay for at breakfast. Go for dinner, you won't regret it.

Dinner. Hands down. Breakfast is just breakfast (although the pineapple bread is awesome!)

Dinner would be my choice, especially concluding my meal with their Bread Pudding, it's delicious.

While I love the steak skewers at dinner, I prefer breakfast at 'Ohana.
I can be a picky eater, and not a lot of the dinner items really appealed to me. I pretty much ate steak and more steak. I was really looking forward to dessert, but I didn't like it at all. :(

Another dinner vote, while I find the breakfast to be good, you can get mickey waffles scrambled eggs and potatoes anywhere. The dinner is unique!

Looking forward to our first Ohana dinner experience in a couple weeks. Seems like people either love it or hate it (Ian).

We ate there for breakfast in November and it was really good. I ordered Tonga Toast for an extra fee, but it was worth it. I'm a big breakfast eater, so I was very excited to get Tonga Toast. We had an excellent server, Paul, and I enjoyed the meal very much. It was probably my first breakfast there since it was Minnie's Menehune breakfast. It was also a great way for the kids to meet Mickey. We actually stayed at BLT and I didn't even consider Chef Mickey's. You have a better chance of getting in at 'Ohana.

As for dinner. When we ate there in '07 (just the two of us on a babymoon), we had an incredible meal. Actually, all of our TS meals were great. But that was before the menu changes and getting rid of the scalloped potatoes. When we ate there again in '08 (a group of 10 and more chaotic) it was good, but not as good as '07.

Now taking the character aspect away, I'm not sure if I can decide. There's just a different atmosphere at night than in the morning. I actually don't eat beef or pork (except when pregnant), so that just leaves the chicken (or is it turkey) and the shrimp. But peel-and-eat shrimp annoys me. If I'm paying $30 or more per person for dinner, I want my shrimp peeled for me. It's the legs. :ack: OK, I think that just settled it. Definitely breakfast. No legs there, except on the diners.

For our family, it's definitely dinner! Either way though, O'Hana is a great experience! I don't remember if they have the coconut races at breakfast, as it's been awhile, but they are a hoot at dinner! Our son(12) loves it as do our nephews and they are 19, 20, and 20!

Ohanas for dinner and if you can book it around the time the fireworks go off even better.
