Jan. 31, 1998 - Illuminations 25 (updated version) had it last show, to have all the 25th Anniversary references removed.
Jan. 31, 1999 – At Super Bowl XXXIII (in Miami) Terrell Davis and John Elway of the Denver Broncos shouted “We’re going to Disney World!” following their team’s 34-19 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Jan. 31, 2002 - As of this day Disney stopped selling “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Tarzan”, “Mulan”, and Pinocchio” on video and DVD.
Jan. 31, 2003 – The Disney Channel debuted the Lizzie McGuire episode “Clue-Less,” and the That’s So Raven episode “Smell of Victory.”
Jan. 31, 2003 – The Disney/Touchstone Picture/ Spyglass Entertainment film “The Recruit” was released.
Jan. 31, 2004 – An auction called “75 Years of Fun with Mickey Mouse” took place at the Grand Californian Hotel in the Disneyland Resort.
Jan. 31, 2005 – “Dream on, Silly Dreamer,” a documentary on the demise of traditional animation at Disney, premiered at the Animex International Festival of Animation in Middlesbrough, England.
Jan. 31, 2005 – The world famous chef Wolfgang Puck held a book signing for his new cookbook “Wolfgang Puck Makes It Easy” at the Wolfgang Puck Café at DTD West Side.
Jan. 31, 2005 – Celebrity Wolfgang Puck made an appearance at “Wolfgang Puck Café at DTD in WDW to promote and sign his new book “Wolfgang Puck Makes It Easy.
Jan. 31, 2006 – Walt Disney Pictures “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” received Oscar \ nominations for Sound Mixing, Makeup, and Visual Effects. Also nominated was the Disney distributed “March of the Penguins” for Documentary Feature.
