I played this with my family and friends yesterday. It is a lot of fun! My only negatives are probably so due to it being a "soft" trial run, but in some of the windows there are just blatant cameras pointed right at you. Not even remotely hidden.
We thought it was funny that we had one CM in particular "shadow us" at all the stops. Was she "assigned" to follow is!? Dunno. But there she was , acting all casual at the jewelry shop, train station, & emporium.

Our assignment was to help main street from Cruella DeVil. You are given a key card, 5 spells, and a map. It tells you what to do & where to go at each stop. The spells are based on characters. For example- our "grumpy" spell said something like "shovels, axes, hammers, and picks, don't tick off the other six"
When we used that spell on a villain, they got thwarted by an avalanche of pick axes falling on them. The meaner the Villians the more spells you may have to cast to defeat them.

The neat thing is when you're done with a challenge, you can keep going- no need to Go back to sorcerer training- just keep going to the next land. We did main street USA & Liberty Square.

So I hope the "messy" features are addressed. Other than that, we found it to be a pretty neat way to spend some time, doing something new and looking for "out of the way" nooks and crannies.

I hadn't heard of this. Is it along the same lines of Kim possible @ EPCOT only at MK??? Thanks

It is quite similar. Only there's nothing to turn in at the end. You can keep the keys and map and spells as souvenirs. :mickey:

I saw the blurb here on intercot about this and was hoping someone would post about actually doing it.

My DD and I are looking forward to doing this (she's 17 but still excited about this because it is interactive) and Kim Possible (wasn't running last time she went).

My little ones love Kim Possible so I know they will love this. Sounds like it was done tastefully. Will be interesting...

Adding pics. The last one- notice the indiscreet cameras I mentioned. Yet in the shop window they're much more disguised. I think it will only get better though. :)

Thanks for the update Christine. Wanting to get over and do it very soon. I've heard much of what you're reporting, that lots of tweaks need to be done. Looks cool though!

We just got back from ten days in the world and we played this game a few times. I thought it was cute but boy oh boy was it a pain in the rear. The lines are extremely long and are not covered by any shade. Its usually adults playing the game and not kids. Don't get me wrong I am a big disney kid too but I think some of the adults were taking a bit of the "magic" away from this game. When my kids first started playing they really believed they were saving the magic kingdom from evil villains. After waiting behind fighting adults who were trading cards and seemed to not really be interested in the game my kids kind of got tired of it. I think the game could use a few touch ups like maybe making the videos a bit shorter which would make lines not so long. I think its a great game though, just has a few kinks.
