If you could be a cast member on any WDW attraction, what would it be?

I'd love to be a part of the stunt crew in the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. And that barely beats out being one of the Voices of Liberty.

I'd like to wear the GOOFY costume. Just once.

Baritone for the Voices of Liberty. I've been singing choral music for over 3 decades & it's a line item on my "Bucket List" to sing just one set with them! :sing:

I would love to work on Main Street USAWait until Christmas day and all four parades get rained out...LOL.... :D

I'd LOVE to go back to being an engineer on the steam trains at Magic Kingdom. That was probably THE most fun job I ever had in my life. There sure ain't a whole lot of REAL steam trains left in this world - let alone four steam trains that operate on a daily basis that were built nearly 100 years ago (with the exception of Disneyland's, of course :) ).

You wouldn't believe some of the questions we got...LOL...

Hey Jim, one day this summer I worked a MiSiCi shift and then picked up a night shift. Worked 3 MiSiCi's, one day parade, Flag Retreat, 2 Light Parades and Wishes. Man was I beat, but fun none the less.

Main Street Operations is still one of the best places to work.

I've always thought that the following would be fun:

1. Haunted Mansion CM...when they're in character, it's a blast.

2. Crush @ Turtle Talk w/ Crush

3. Engineer on the MK trains

4. Driving any of the WDW boats!

5. Main Street

6. A DHS street performer....Mulch, Sweat, and Shears, or one of the movie producers/actors.

Don't have "dedicated sticker-giver-outers". LOL

Every business unit has rolls and rolls and rolls of stickers and all CM's are "encouraged" to hand them out at any time.

Have no idea how many rolls they order at a time but the supply never seems to run out.

1) I have never worked in the parks.
2) My service has always been at resorts.
3) However, since this is fantasy/dreaming
. . . I want to "fly" the Tink wire
. . . the path over the crowds has to be cool
. . . I know someone who was Tink
. . . she really loved it *
4) However, this is pure fantasy
5) Ex-football players don't fit the Tink suit.
6) I would also bend down the wire.
7) Maybe low enough to touch the crowd.

* She got pregnant and was too heavy after
the baby. Well, she was 10# too heavy! Now,
that is a tight job description!

That would awesome....and hilarious. All the kids would be screaming and running. Never the same.

I hadn't thought of that one. That WOULD be fun if you're a train operator/guide.

Well, everyone at GMR is tour guide trained. But it is a lot of fun. Every show is different

I asked this question years ago and I think I have to go back to my answer from then - Decoration department. The ones that get to work during the night when the park is all quiet and empty.

That would be my choice. Except I' m not a night person. I think I would like to work at the Studios-maybe the Walt Disney Story. My first choice would have been with the animators
but no one to work with now

Jungle Cruise always seemed like a fun one to me. And of course the HM. I worked (retail) at RnRc and ToT, ToT especially seemed like a fun place to be an Ops CM.

Stepping outside the box a bit, I've always thought Soarin' looked like a neat place to be a CM. Indoors, so you don't have to deal with the heat/weather. Interesting costumes. Neat attraction to see "behind the scenes."

I'd love to work on one of the trains, or pilot a monorail. Jim, did you get a lot of Railfans on the trains?

Of the more traditional rides, I'd want to work on the ToT, HM, or the Safari.

I'd love to work on one of the trains, or pilot a monorail. Jim, did you get a lot of Railfans on the trains?Sure did. And, of course, it was mostly an older crowd. These kids today don't know how easy they got it with their technology...LOL...

Thing is...with both Monorails and Steam Trains (engineer *and* conductor), they're all pretty high-seniority positions. One of the Monorail guys I knew said he waited two years just to get Platform (that's the Monorail station CM's, not the pilots), and it was about another three-year wait to get into Monorail Pilot.

With the trains, all of the daytime crew are all 10- or 15-year-plus CMs. I got *very* lucky getting in when I did, because two or three guys retired all around the same time.

If you need a good Disney train Web site, PM me.
