Got my 2012 Vacation Planning dvd today.

Won't have a chance to watch it today so I don't know what or if anything is different from last one.

Haven't ordered that one - come to think of it - I don't think I've had a chance to watch last year's version yet!!

I'll be waiting for your critique...I was just about to order mine, but thought I'd check on here to see if it would be worth it. (Yes, I know it's 'free', but if there is nothing new, I can just watch the 2011 version again.)

They don't seem to be doing a DVD in the UK you just get online holiday planning tools - sob

So far except for the 30 sec intro it is exactly the same. I even have the 2011 planning on laptop and 2012 on the TV and have them playing just about the same spot and they are playing word for word.

I guess they do throw in a few new things here and there. They talked a little about the Fantasyland expansion and showed the castle with the different photos and how it looked like they colored on it which isn't in the 2011 dvd.

I got rid of the 2011 one. I didn't think it was all that interesting. If this one's pretty much the same, looks like it don't need to order one.

I miss the old way they used to do it. They were much more fun and helpful in getting the kids excited about what rides we were going on. They need to find a balance between sales pitches and info.

I think we have some of the old VHS videos somewhere. I should find then and watch them again but only have a vcr on the small bedroom TV. I would love to see a more detailed section about the Resorts, you would think that would be helpful to get people in them maybe.
