It's strange to think that he was gone before I was born and yet he has had such an impact on me. We'll always remember him fondly.

Me too. I remember watching him on the Wonderful World of Disney as a child never realizing they were filmed years earlier.

In '08 I was at DHS visiting One Man's Dream on this day, and as I was meandering thru the displays I asked the CM's working there if they knew the significance of this particular day. :(

Not a single one knew. :faint:

Very sad... :(

I was only four but I have a vague memory of when Walt died. I remember being very sad thinking that Mickey Mouse's dad had died.

We miss you Mr. Disney.
