Dec. 10, 1957 – Actor Michael Clarke Duncan, the voice of Tug in Disney’s 2003 “Brother Bear,” was born in Chicago, Il.
Dec. 10, 1961 – Actress/singer Nia Pepples, who appeared in the 1997 TV movie “Tower of Terror” (based on the WDW attraction), was born in Hollywood, Ca.
Dec. 10, 1961 – Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color TV series aired “Kids is Kids.”
Dec. 10, 1967 – Disney’s part-1 of its 2-part TV movie “A Boy Called Nuthin’” aired.
Dec. 10, 1969 – Academy Award-winning composer Leigh Harline passed away in Los Angeles, Ca. Among his best known Disney tunes…”When You Wish Upon A Star,” from “Pinocchio.”
Dec. 10, 1969 – Disney’s special live-action and cartoon featurette “It’s Tough to Be a Bird” was released. (An extended version aired on TV Dec. 13, 1970)
