Housekeeping carts (DVC)

We just recently stayed at BLT and noticed that there were housekeeping carts left in the hallways. Are they left there on purpose, can we take supplies off of them as needed? For instance, we stay in a studio and only have paper plates and bowls, are we allowed to take additional plates on our own?

Housekeeping carts are for use by Housekeeping. I'm fairly sure they are not there to help yourself to supplies. It's a fairly new procedure though it seems. Usually you wouldn't see the carts unless they were actively cleaning rooms, now it seems they run them out and leave them there for long periods of time.

I wouldn't just help yourself. They are probably stocked based on who needs cleanings that day, etc. Not all rooms are cleaned on the same day due to the 4 and 7 day rotation from check-in date.
