I just wanted to alert everyone to "Small Business Saturday" which will be taking place this coming Saturday, the day after Black Friday. According to their website,
The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday® is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.
On November 26, we're asking millions of people to shop small at their favorite local stores and help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be huge.
I heard about it on the radio this morning and was very intrigued/interested. I do generally go out on Black Friday (will NOT be at midnight, though!) and was thinking about participating in this as well. I'm going to research into some small businesses in my area for some Christmas gifts.
I know people on Intercot are generally supportive of small, local businesses, so I thought I'd spread the word!
