Nov. 19, 1966 – Actor Jason Scott Lee, the voice of David Kawena in Disney’s 2002 “Lilo & Stitch” was born in Oahu, Hawaii.
Nov. 19, 1967 – The Disney TV show “One Day on Beetle Rock” aired for the first time.
Nov. 19, 1971 – The 640-acre “Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground” opened to guests at WDW.
Nov. 19, 1972 – The Disney TV movie “Nosey, the Sweetest Skunk in the West, aired.
Nov. 19, 1978 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired a 90-minute show to celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 50th birthday. Guest appearances inclided Edgar Bergen, Lawrence Welk, Jo Anne Worley, Gerald Ford, Willie Nelson, Anne Bancroft, Billy Graham, Jodie Foster, Gene Kelly, Eva Gabor, Roy Rogers & Dale Evans, Goldie Hawn, and Johnny Carson.
Nov. 19, 1989 – Disney’s part-1 of its 2-part TV movie “Parent Trap Hawaiian Honeymoon” aired. (Part-2 aired Nov. 26, 1989)
Nov. 19, 1990 - Disney’s Beach Club Resort opened along with Stormalong Bay, “Atlantic Wear and Wardrobe Emporium” Shop (Closed Jan. 5, 2005), and “Ariel’s” Seafood Restaurant (Closed May 3, 1997) at Walt Disney World.
Nov. 19, 1996 – Disney Online officially launched its Internet Disney Store.
Nov. 19, 1998 – The Disney two-hour TV movie “Max Q. Emergency Landing” aired.
Nov. 19, 1998 – VH1 aired “Hollywood & Vinyl: Disney’s 101 Greatest Musical Moments,” a look back at musical moments in the history of Disney animated feature films from the last 75 years.
