Nov. 9, 1994 – The “Skyway” attraction at Disneyland closed.
Nov. 9, 1997 – The 2-hour Disney movie “Angels in the End Zone,” aired on The Wonderful World of Disney.
Nov. 9, 1999 – The “Skyway” attraction at WDW closed, 5 years to the day of the closing of Disneyland’s “Skyway” attraction.
Nov. 9, 1999 – Disney’s “Toy Story 2” soundtrack, featuring the music of Randy Newman was released.
Nov. 9, 1999 – “Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving” was released direct-to-video.”
Nov. 9, 1999 – Disney’s “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas” was released on VHS.
Nov. 9, 2001 – At Disney’s California Adventure, Disney’s “Luminaria,” a holiday show made up of dazzling lights, low level pyrotechnics and music performed on the waters of Paradise Pier Lagoon, had its debut. (The show would run through Jan. 6, 2002.)
Nov. 9, 2001 – The 26th Annual “Festivals of Masters” returned to Downtown Disney Marketplace in WDW. (3-day event)
Nov. 9, 2001 – The Lizzie McGuire episode “Scarlett Larry” aired on the Disney Channel for the first time.
Nov. 9, 2002 – The Los Angeles Chapter of the NFFC (The National Fantasy Fan Club for Disneyana Enthusiasts) hosted their annual foot rally and trivia day at Disney’s California Adventure.
