I received a letter today stating that Disney Visa Reward Dollars will now be awarded in dollars and cents, instead of just whole dollars. The letter stated:
"For example, when you spend $128, you will earn 1.28 in Disney Dream Reward Dollars versus earning 1 Disney Dream Reward Dollar previously."
Now I always assumed that when you spent $128, that the $28 that didn't earn a "credit" this month got carried over to the next month, and that over time it all came out to the same amount of money. After reading this letter I am not so sure. Is it possible that, under the old TOS, if for 12 months in a row you spent $128, you would only accumulate $12 for the year instead of $15 (the extra 3 come from carrying the $28 over month to month until it makes a whole $100)?
If that is how it used to work I guess I will earn, on average, an extra $6 in DDRD next year.
