Today was my 7 month mark to call for Aulani. I called right at 8 and had no problem getting the 1 BR villas for our dates. We are so excited!!! Now the long wait until our Hawaiian vacation!

That's wonderful! I was assuming that it would be an impossible task, now there's a glimmer of hope. I have one graduating college and one graduating us in 2014 so I'm in the very early planning stages of a GCV/Aluani trip for then.

It actually wasn't hard thankfully, however the standard view category was not available for 2 dates (Sat and Sun) right in the middle of our stay. I decided just to move up 1 category to the Island view for a few more points and be done with it rather than to wait list. We will be going right after Memorial Day next year Tues- Tues. The member services CM said there was availability in every room category and she said it was a big resort. Be sure to call first thing in the morning at your 7 month mark. I am sure you will get in. Most popular are standard view (least points) and ocean view (most points) so to be safe you may want to expect something in the middle...good luck!
