We are going to CDF so DDs can meet Remy. What do you suggest for lunch?

I thought I read on one of the threads that Remy only visits the restaurant at dinner time. You may want to check...

We are leaving in 8 days & also have CDF ressies but for dinner as Remy comes out to visit approx 5:20 in the evening so we got ressies for 515pm. May want to se if you can get a later reservation. Do not make it for a Sunday as that is Remy's day off.

I think the short ribs are on the lunch menu, and they were delicious. But everything is pretty good there.

Have they changed Remy's time to visit? In the summer of 2010 we had lunch at CDF and we got to see Remy. Our reservation was for around 11:30 and Remy was coming around just as we were finishing up dessert.

My husband and I shared one of the 3 course meals and it was great. We had the lobster bisque, French toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a green salad, and creme brulee. It was more than enough for a lunchtime meal and everything was yummy.

We had an early afternoon ressie last Sept and Remy was out.

We had an early lunch last December and had a great visit with Remy! The quiche is excellent, as is the ham & cheese and the mac & cheese. I couldn't finish the mac & cheese so we put it in our fridge at the resort (BC) and then reheated it later that night in the marketplace for a snack. Yummy!

This may sound like an odd question . . . is Remy little or "person" sized?

I'm not a fan of characters and we are visiting CDF for the first time this trip. I would like to be prepared . . . . .

He's rolled around on a serving cart by a CM. He's on a plate under a domed cover and interacts with guests.

We were there 9-23 to 10-4 and had a 1:20 reservation one of those days. Remy visited us twice. :)

PS - The lobster bisque was FANTASTIC!

Remy visits at lunch, not dinner. Anyway the creme brûlée was an awesome dessert! I also reccommend the bisque.

You really can't go wrong with the prix fixe lunch. Lots of good choices! Personally, I love their onion soup, quiche or a croque monsieur for entree and creme brulée for dessert. :tasty:

The gratin de macaroni was fantastic! The chicken crepe and cheese tray were delicious as well.
