While we were in WDW from Oct 4 to Oct 9, we left a bag of souvenirs behind at a restaurant and didn't realize it until days later when we were packing to check out. I filled out a card with the concierge describing the lost items and where we might have left them, just in case.

Today, I got that bag as a package in the mail, shipped from Yacht and Beach Club, where we stayed and where we left the bag at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The Food and Wine coasters we bought were there in the original purchase bag, plus the glow cube I'd tossed in the bag after ordering a light-up cocktail. I've left things behind at hotels before and paid for shipping, but that a CM would track this down and mail it to me is the kind of incredible extra service I wouldn't expect to find anywhere but at WDW. :D

Great that you got your stuff back.
It's not that unusual. Disney makes an extra effort to get lost items back to guests.
An example of that is if something is reported left behind on a bus, Disney will attempt to track down the bus and if the bus is found with the item, it will take that bus out of service in order to get the items back to the guest.

So glad you got your package! I love to read positive stories! It seems more people take the time when they are upset, rather than when something good happens! Kudos to that magical CM!
