Oct. 10, 1955 – The Mickey Mouse Club aired the episode “Today is Fun With Music Day” on ABC-TV.
Oct. 10, 1956 – The Disneyland TV series aired part 2 of “Rob Roy.”
Oct. 10, 1957 – The first of 78 episodes of Disney’s “Zorro” began airing on ABC. (Ended Sept. 28, 1959).
Oct. 10, 1958 – The Walt Disney Presents TV series aired the episode “The Pigeon that Worked a Miracle.”
Oct. 10, 1961 – Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” and Barbie in “Toy Story 2,” was born in Rockford, Il.
Oct. 10, 1965 – The 3rd episode of Disney’s TV Series “The Further Adventures of Gallegher: The Daily Press vs. City Hall aired.
Oct. 10, 1993 – The Disney TV special “The Making of the NHL’s Mighty Ducks” aired on KCAL in Los Angeles, CA.
Oct. 10, 1995 – Winnie the Pooh’s 70th Anniversary CD, “Take My Hand: Songs from the 100 Acre Wood” was released.
Oct. 10, 1996 – The 4th annual “Jazz Fest” began at Pleasure Island in WDW. Some of the musicians to headline the event were: Jeff Kashiwa, Greg Karukas, Craig Chaquico, and Keiko Matsui.
Oct. 10, 1997 – The Disney film “RocketMan” was released.

If this is truly one of the high points, then Oct 10 has been a slow day for disney from the beginning.:D
