Has the original Dumbo been taken down because the move to it's new site? If not, does anyone know when it will happen?

Not yet and I hear it will be sometime soon. I also hear that it may be flying backwards counter clockwise??

Various sites have reported that Disney has confirmed that they will move the current Dumbo sometime early 2012, with the duel Dumbo's opening late that year. The Goofy Coaster and Railroad Station will open sometime early next year, so the old ToonTown will be a busy place here soon enough...

The way I interpreted it, one set of Dumbos will fly clockwise, and the other set counter-clockwise, but I don't think backwards. Does that sound right? Also, I guess that means there won't be a Dumbo ride for the time that they are refurbishing it? Because originally they claimed it wouldn't close. Just curious, because if we do get there next August, my kids want to start with Dumbo! :mickey:

I think the new one will open before the old one closes for refurb and movement to the other part of the park. SO there will always be ONE dumbo open, and by fall of next year, both should be in operation.
