once we have the CD, can we then save the pics on our computer/ and external hard drive. and use them to make holiday photo cards on shutterfly rather than on the disney web site?

According to the Photo Image CD Sales Agreement and Limited License:


In consideration of the purchase price paid by the buyer ("Buyer") of this Photo Image Compact Disc ("CD") to Disney Photo Imaging LLC ("Seller"), Seller hereby grants Buyer a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, distribute, and display the digital photo files contained on the CD ("Photo Files") solely for personal, non-commercial use."

Yes, you can download the images onto your computer. Since you are not using for commericial use and are not selling them, it would appear that you could use them on holiday cards which you "distribute" and/or "display" for your personal use.

We got a CD for the first time this year, and have happily copied, saved, and used the pics without any difficulties :thumbsup:
