Sept. 28, 1962 – The 3rd annual “Dixieland at Disneyland” was held.
Sept. 28, 1963 – English teacher-turned-animation writer & producer Greg Weisman was born in Woodland Hills, Ca. He is most famous for creating the acclaimed animated TV series “Gargoyles.”
Sept. 28, 1964 – Comedian/actress Janeane Garofalo, the voices of Collette in Disney/Pixar’s “Ratatouille” and Bridget in “The Wild,” was born in Newton, N.J.
Sept. 28, 1966 – Actress Maria Canals – Barrera was born in Miami, Fl. Fans of Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” know her as Theresa Russo.
Sept. 28, 1975 – The Disney TV show aired “The Outlaw Cats of Colossal Cat.”
Sept. 28, 1982 – Canada, China, and France opened around World Showcase at WDW’S Epcot.
Sept. 28, 1982 – “Annual Passports” (special year-long admission passes) were introduced at WDW.
