Hi all. My wife and I just returned Friday night from 5 days at Disney. Thought I'd let everyone know that the crowds were extremely light all week-- even on Sunday and Labor Day Monday. We walked on almost every ride and the longest wait we had was 10 minutes. We did use FP for Soarin' but even that standby was only 30 minutes. TSM had reasonable wait times as well. We walked on RNRC, ToT, ST2 and others. Cast members were all great and every other vacationer we talked to was great as well.

Parks were in great shape and we had a great time. Only negative was some smokers who decided everyone likes to smell their smoke-- give it up folks!!

Anyway, if anyone is ever considering a Labor Day week trip to WDW, I strongly recommend it. I'll post some dining info in that forum, but that was all good as well.

Glad you had a great time! I've always heard this was a good week. My Novemeber trips are becoming more and more crwoded, may have to switch:unsure::idea:

Welcome to September!

I now firmly believe it's the least crowded time to visit. January used to be up there as well, but not anymore.

Glad you had a nice trip! :mickey:

We check in on Saturday, so I hope this trend continues through next week at least! We (DD-13 and myself) are taking my Mom who hasn't been to Disney in 30 years. Super excited about going back, but dreading the fact that DD is already talking about riding RnRC and ToT. I'm not a thrill ride seeker at all, but I have to ride them with her! :mickey:

We love WDW in September! Dont think we're going to make it this year, financial reasons. :(

We leave in two days and it is our first September trip as well. So glad to hear about the lack of crowds. Coming from Texas we will have no complaints about heat or even a bit of rain (kinda have forgotten what it feels like...)
I don't think you can have a hurricane in the happiest place on earth!:mickey:

I'm one guest from New England, and I leave in about 34 hours. I can tell you that I don't care how the weather is, as long as I'm not at work, it's a vacation to me!

Haven't visited over Labor Day weekend since 1999, and it wasn't empty then. Parks were packed in early June this year. Good to know there's still some easy touring days left.

It makes since because it's the first few weeks of school.

In 2004 we were at Epcot the Friday before Labor Day and it was like a ghost town. Except for the scorching temps, it was FANTASTIC.

Haven't been on vacation anywhere since Jan '09, so no matter what, this trip is going to be AWESOME. Your trip reports just make it all the more exciting to think about.

Leaving Sunday morning!!! :bubbles:

I guess I'll have to consider a September trip. My last trip in January was bussier than I hoped and October was crowded too due to F&W. I see why prices are low in September. I'd just be worried about the heat. I guess I'll have to check the weather out. Thanks for the report!
