Star Tours vs Toy Story Fastpass?

Now that Star Tours is open...which should I get a fastpass for first thing in the morning? I always got the TSM fastpass and then went on ToT and RRC. Should I get Star Tours instead? Which line moves faster ? Any thoughts?:mickey:

When I was there in July, headed to TSMM, got a FP, and did TSMM standby..then went to Star Tours...and did it twice, back to back, with no lines...after our TSMM FP time came up, went back to Star Tours, and rode it again, with almost no line. It wasn't until afternoon that there was any lengthly lines at Star Tours. Note that I rode ST 5 times that day...and had the same experience 4 of the 5 times...Still a great upgrade. TSMM still draws the biggest crowd.

We were there the first two weeks of July and star Tours was very little wait around noon. I would say TSM (tho we don't ride this) would be the most adventagious for a FP.

Absolutely get your TSM FPs first. Star Tours just isn't seeing the lines like TSM. The day I was in the park to cover the American Idol winner appearance, I was by the hat at park opening and specifically watched the two sides to see how many folks headed towards TSM and how many towards ST. TSM won by a landslide!

I believe Star Tours has a better load capacity as well - that helps the lines move faster.

Just returned. No contest - Star Tours longest wait all week was 30 min, FP's always available. TSM is the usual chaos.

good info...was wondering if the refurb would change the line dynamics for any real length of time...apparently not.

I was there during SWW this year not long after Star Tours reopened and the longest I had to wait for ST was 15 minutes. TSM was still over a 90 minute wait for stand by! GET FASTPASSES for TSM and ride stand by first thing in the morning! Then head over to Star Tours! Enjoy both! :mickey:

Toy Story, hands down. I can't think of another ride in WDW for that matter, with a slower, more tedious line. K.Safari is long, but the line seems to go faster. TS, forever. Use the fastpass there..

Well, I guess Soarin or TestTrack, might equal TS..

Last week the wait at star tours never seemed to go over 20 minutes. Go to TSM first!

Just got back from WDW Sat. Definately fast pass TSM, they are usually gone by mid-day. Star Tours seems to be able to accomodate more people faster.
