View Full Version : Split stay & new mug system?

If you are doing a two reservation stay. Free Dining is only 14 days so the other 5 are on another reservation.

Anybody heard how the mugs will work for that? I'm still there on the same trip ~ it's just that the WDW computer systems have limitations.

I really don't want to have to buy 2 mugs for the same trip . . . . . :(

What I overheard this week was if you are in the same resort for an extended amount of time they will switch out your mugs after 14 days at no cost.

Are all the resorts on the new refillable mugs that require you to scan the cup?

I thought there was only 1 resort testing the system out so far.

So far I believe it's only Pop Century testing it out.

Someone posting earlier said that they had seen the "rules" sign at PO Riverside, too.

I think the official policy is each stay gets it's own mug.

Split stays are more the exception to the rule than anything else. I think the spirit of the program is that one mug per trip is acceptable (and I don't think anyone would prosecute you).

When the new mug system goes in place property wide however, I've got a feeling that the official policy will be enforced in full.
