Christmas decorations

I want to be at WDW when I turn 40 on 11/30/2012.:party: My question is, will the holiday decorations already be up? Or the Osburn lights? I am not sure when it all starts.

All the decorations begin going up Nov 1 and are fully up (for the most part) by mid-November when the MVMCP starts. Some of the Epcot stuff doesn't start until after Thanksgiving, but you'll be there for everything.

Magic Kingdom tree in Town Sq. and some of the Main St. decorations will not be in place until around the 2nd week of Dec.

They do not begin to install until after the ABC TV Christmas day parade taping which usually happens on Thursday thru Sunday of the first weekend of Dec. Tree is normally fully up by the Wednesday after the parade taping.

Most of the Main St. decorations will be up with some taken down for the taping and then reinstalled after taping.
