La Hacienda... reviews?

We are going 8/25 and have a ressie for France- party of 10 with kids. Would the new Mexico restaurant be the better choice? Also is 7pm too early to view Illuminations from there?

I suspect it's too late to get a ressie for that big a group at La Hacienda, but you could try. It has great atmosphere.

But IMO, tying a table up for over 2 hours is unfair to the server and other guests. It's actually easier and better to watch the fireworks outside the restaurant.

I was also thinking about trying this restaurant. I'd be interested to hear opinons well. Also, does anyone know if they serve lunch?

It is nice, but we still preferred the old version, la cantina i think, we liked the old menu better.

La Hacienda only serves TS at dinner. During the day, it serves as additional seating for La Cantina.
