TS to CS dining question

We got the free dining plan for our upcoming stay at the POFQ and my question is about the credits. I believe I read somewhere that you can convert TS credits to use at CS places (I realize this is not the best use of credits, but would rather convert then leave credits unused). Can you actually do this and if so how? Do you just tell them at the CS restaurant or does something more need to be done?

There used to be some conversion of credits allowed, but not any more. Each credit has to be used only for its designated function. If you really don't want all the dining credits you might look into a room only discount instead of the "free" DDP. Especially at a moderate the "free" DDP isn't necessarily the best deal.
