Grand Villa at OKW

We are hoping to stay in the Grand Villa at OKW in January 2013. We tried this year to get AKL, but didn't get it. We thought it would be easier to get the resort of your choice. That's not a complaint, just a disappointment. But anyway, we are traveling with another family in 2013 and total, there will be 12 of us, so a grand villa would be our choice. Does anyone know if it will be easy to get a reservation if we jump right on it when our window opens? Or are grand villas limited and hard to get? It is not our home resort, so we will have to wait longer. Any advice or thoughts would be helpful!

Grand Villas can be tough because there aren't many, but the time of year you are going helps as it's more off-season. Call right at your 7 month window and not a day later. The good news is the OKW GV's are larger than all the others/other resort's GVs. Good luck!

We had 11 in march in an OKW GV...we rented points and booked right at the 11. Month mark. There are 22 GV...they are huge and truly amazing...my only complaint was the stairs to the second floor entrance with two double strollers. All GV's are on the second and third floor (2 story). Good Luck. We liked it so much we bought into OKW...we'll be In a studio in November.
