July 15, 1994 – The Disney movie, “Angels in the Outfield,” starring Danny Glover, Tony Danza, Brenda Fricker, Ben Johnson, Jay O. Sanders, Christopher Lloyd, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, was released.
July 15, 1995 - Disney’s Fairytale Wedding Pavilion opened at WDW.
July 15, 1998 – Disney launched “Toon Disney”, the 24 hour all animated channel on the cable network.
July 15, 1998 – “Building a Company: Roy O. Disney and the creation of an Entertainment Empire” by author Bob Thomas was published by Hyperion Press.
July 15, 1998 – The “Disney Magic” arrived at Port Canaveral, Fl. for the first time.
July 15, 1999 - Part of SEGA closed at Innoventions West and the rest closed a month later.
July 15, 2000 – Six Walt Disney Imagineers came together for a special lithograph signing to pay tribute to Disneyland Park and “45 Years of Magic.” The event took place at The Disney Gallery located in New Orleans Square.
July 15, 2002 - Facade work begun on Maelstrom at Norway in Epcot.
July 15, 2005 – Disneyland’s Space Mountain reopened after a 2-year refurbishment. Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, took part in the opening ceremony.
July 15, 2005 – The Disney Channel Original Movie “Life is Ruff” aired.
