We are having my daughter baptised next weekend, and my brother and niece will be the God-Parents.
I have 2 older kids ( 14 & 8 ) but I can't remember if I am suppose to get the God Parents a gift. I am pretty sure I did with the other 2.

So my question is what would you say is a nice gift to get them? Trying to not spend too much also.
If it helps my niece is 16, and my brother is older ( 44).

Thanks for your help. I seem to be drawing a blank as to what to get.

I've never heard of gifts for god-parents, so I can't help you with any ideas. Usually the guests to the Christening (including the god-parents) would give gifts, not the other way around.

I don't remember giving my sis and her hubby gifts but I did give them gifts when I chose them as the godparents. :) I made my brother in law a mug with Godfather etc on it...and I got my sister a photoframe with Godmother on it.

If you want to give something I think a framed picture of them with the baby from the christening would be a nice gift. I don't think you have to but if you want to, that seems like a nice thing!

My sister gave me a nice Godmother picture frame with my precious Godson in it.

Thank you all for the ideas.

I think I will give my niece a picture frame with a nice picture of them both.
As far as my brother, I'll think of something.
