I'm heading to LA & Vegas soon and my boyfriend can't live without his electric razor/shaver...but I do NOT want to pay to check our bags! Are they allowed in carry-ons? I know regular safety razors are...

His razor is pricey, we can't just toss it when there, but it's the only possible reason we'd have to check our bag...

Alot of online sites say "they are probably allowed" but I'd like something definite.

Thanks muchly!

You should either go to your airlines web site or call them directly for this question so that you are not blindsided when you get to the airport.

I've traveled with mine in a carryon probably twice a year since 9/11 and I've never had a problem.

I take mine in my carry-on often. It is not on the TSA list of prohibited items. Most small electronic or electric items are fine, just send them through the x-ray machine.
