I'm checking into a Manhattan hotel and the lobby is filled with... A Brazilian tour group all wearing brightly colored Disney shirts. can you believe it?

Can't get away from them anywhere I guess. Did it look like they were coming from or going to Disney. We leave in a few days and are sure we will run into them during our trip.

My guess is they were returning from, not headed there. But my sister is at WDW now and she said she has seen several groups there. You can't escape them. Apparently not even in NYC. :)

Tis the season...

Actually, this will be the first year in some 15 or so years I'll miss them. Unless they have them out in the Caribbean...

LOL...LOL...There is no escaping the Brazilian tour groups!!!

Enjoy your time in NYC!!! Hope you catch a show.

Where are you staying? My sister had a big NYC wedding in May, and the bridal staging area was Ink 48. It was a Kimpton Hotel, and it was VERY nice!!! We really enjoyed our night stay there. First class on every level. We only live 20 miles away from the city, so I've never stayed overnight. It was a great experience!!!

The first night, with tour group, was at the Sheraton New York. That was okay. The next four nights were at the Marriott Marquis. This was for a Romance Writers of America conference so we got a good rate. Very nice rooms and mine overlooked the big Coca Cola sign in Times Square. I'm not a big fan of Times Square, but from the room it was lovely. No time for plays this trip. Was signing books, studying industry trends, and meeting with my agent and publishers. But I get into the city fairly often, so next time maybe.

What a great view from your room!!! Ink 48 is on 48th and 11th so it is set a little bit back from the skyline...thus offering a great view.

I do love the City! My girls and I enjoy tooling around.

Hope your convention was good!
