June 26, 1987 – The Disney TV show “Mickey and Nora” aired.
June 26, 1989 – The attraction “Delta Dreamflight” debuted in Tomorrowland at WDW. The name would be changed to “Take Flight” after Delta dropped its sponsorship in January 1996.
June 26, 1993 – The “Emerald Cove” serial began airing in The Disney Channels Mickey Mouse Club.
June 26, 1995 – Delos Records released the CD “Heigh-Ho! Mozart,” featuring Disney tunes in the style of great classical composers.
June 26, 1999 – Disneyland hosted a 2-day celebration honoring the 30th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion.
June 26, 1999 – The Disney Channel Original Movie “Smart House” aired.
June 26, 2001 - FastPass opened at Maelstrom.
June 26, 2002 – WDW and other Orlando attractions were featured on “Family Vacations in Orlando,” which aired on the Travel Channel.
June 26, 2006 – Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean officially re-opened to guests. Captain Jack Sparrow and Barbosa (characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean feature films) have been added to the popular attraction.
June 26, 2007 – Disney’s “High School Musical: The Concert” was released on DVD.
