View Full Version : I actually like Beverly -- anyone else?

I don't know if it's the contrarian in me or what, but I actually like the taste of Beverly. It makes me laugh when other people try it at Club Cool and I see their faces when I drink it on purpose. It reminds me a little of San Pellegrino limonata. And it's sometimes a relief after drinking the gallons of regular pop while we're on vacation.

Any other Beverly fans out there, or am I the only one?

My DH really loves it. He always wishes he could buy some to take home, and makes sure to stop by Club Cool as often as possible.

I like it too, but in small doses. But then again, I really like Campari too!

Just read the title of this thread to my DW. She replied "Did I start the thread?"

Yes, I like it!

I always try a "cup". I really just do it so my wife can see my face and tell me to "grow up.":mickey:

I sample all of them each trip. I really like the watermelon drink. The others?...not so much. But that doesn't stop me. I even like yucky things if I'm in WDW!

in 1999 my brother who was on 13 at the time and i went. back then you went through an igloo to get there and it was much smaller.
but my brother was wearing a shirt from some basektball tournament he had played in sponsored by Pepsi.
the lady that worked there gave him **** about being in a coke store wearing a pepsi shirt, then to make ammends she offered him a nice cold drink...it was Beverly. You should have seen his face. It was hysterical.!

I usually have seconds of Beverly. I don't know exactly why I like it, but I do.

I like it too (seriously!) it's not meant to be guzzled--it's an aperitif!

You can have my share ;-)

Actually, I don't think it is as bad as some people say. I think that the very sweet drinks make it taste worse by contrast.

I tried, I really tried, but I just couldn't choke it down.

Being Italian-American, I wanted to like it, but I thought it was nasty. I'll eat or drink, just about anything, so I was surprised I thought it was so awful. Oh well. :mickey:

I love Beverly, greatly dislike Campari. My husband's boss drinks Campari and soda and it always looks good, so I got one once and ack, not for me. But Beverly, I like. Maybe you're right and it's the small doses.

BIL mentioned he wished that they sold bottles of the colas in that store and that got me thinking I wonder if they sell them at the countries, like the japanese drink? It would be interesting if they sold some of the bottles in that store... I'm sure some wouldn't sell like crazy but they would sell a little bit... especially to those that are from that particular country.
