Busch Gardens Williamsburg Crowds

We are doing our summer vacation down in SC and thinking about stoppong at Busch Gardens on our way home (July 3), but we are concerned with how bad the crowds might be? For you experts out there, what should we expect?

July 3 will be crowded. If you go to enjoy the ambiance of the park and with the atitude that you will get on whatever you can and not worry if you don't get to do a particular ride, you will be ok. If your heart is set on riding the big coasters, the waits will be an hour or so long.

We're heading down the 4th, 5th and maybe some the 6th. Has anyone purchased their "fast pass" tickets? I thought about buying them for one day for the kids.
