June 11, 1969 – The Disney film “Hang Your Hat on the Wind” was released.
June 11, 1975 – WDW’s version of the “Main Street Electrical Parade” debuted.
June 11, 1975 – Recording artist Mylin Brooks, a member of the Disney Channel’s “The All New Mickey Mouse Club,” was born in the Philippines.
June 11, 1977 – The “Main Street Electric Parade” debuted in the Magic Kingdom at WDW. (Ended Sept. 14, 1991)
June 11, 1983 - The Refreshment Outpost opened in World Showcase.
June 11, 1986 – Actor Shia LaBeouf, the start of Disney Channel’s “Even Stevens” and the Disney feature films “The Greatest Game Ever Played” and “Holes,” was born in Los Angeles, Ca. LaBeouf was also the host of the 2002 documentary “Beauty and the Beast: Disney’s Animation Magic.”
June 11, 1989 – Disney’s Davy Crockett movie starring Tim Dunigan “A Letter to Polly” aired.
June 11, 1992 – Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” was widely released in theaters in Australia.
June 11, 1993 – The Disney TV series “Cutters” began airing on CBS. (Ended July 9, 1993)
June 11, 1993 – Disneyland’s Motor Boat Cruise in Fantasyland closed. (It opened in June 1957).
