June 9, 1978 – Disney’s Theatrical Compilation of several Zorro shows “The Sign of Zorro,” was released.
June 9, 1978 – Disney’s live-action “The Cat from Outer Space,” starring Ronnie Schell (as an army sergeant & the voice of Jake the cat), Ken Berry, Sandy Duncan, Harry Morgan, McLean Stevenson, Alan Young, and Roddy McDowell, was released.
June 9, 1984 - The first of 25 episodes of The Disney Channel’s TV Series “Disney Family Album” aired.
June 9, 1984 - Laserphonic Fantasy made its debut in Epcot replacing New World Fantasy.
June 9, 1984 – Donald Duck and Clarence Nash (the voice of Donald Duck) lead a ticker-tape parade through Disneyland, celebrating 50 yrs. since Donald Duck’s film debut in “The Wise Little Hen”.
June 9, 1989 – The Disney film “Dead Poets Society” had its general release.
June 9, 1989 – The Disney Channel aired episode 35 of MMC. “Today is Hall of Fame Day!”
June 9, 1990 – The Disney TV series “Singer & Sons” began airing on NBC. (Ended June 27, 1990)
June 9, 1993 – The Disney/Touchstone film “What’s Love Got To Do With It” had its initial release. (General release was June 11, 1993)
June 9, 1997 - Les Chefs de France closed for rehab along with Au Petit Café which would be combined with Les Chefs de France. And Bistro de Paris was renamed Les Chefs de France during the renovation of the original restaurant downstairs.
