The attraction is named Liberty Square Riverboat, but the ship itself is named the Liberty Belle.

The original riverboat was named Admiral Joe Fowler and it had two black smoke stacks. Then it was joined by the Richard F. Irvine in 1973. Sometime later the Admiral Joe Fowler was damaged beyond repair during a refurb ( I think that the keel broke when it was in dry dock). In the nineties the Richard Irvine was refurbed and the boat was rechristined The Liberty Belle. Now the boats that take you back and forth from the parking lot to the Magic Kingdom are named the Admiral Joe Fowler and the Richard F. Irvine. Just a little trivia to throw out there to answer your question.:teach:

The Liberty Belle is a replica 3 deck working paddle steamer that was built at WDW. It travels under its own steam for its graceful 17 minute journey around Tom Saywer Island. It does have one cheat in that it follows a guide rail for steering.
