My sister ade me some homemade cookies for my flight tomorrow but I was wondering if I can take them on the plane if I put them in quart size bags? We are flying American airlines.

You can bring any food you like onto the plane and you don't have to put them in a quart sized bag - that's just for liquids and gels.
Have a good flight!

You can bring a whole meal on the plane if you want to.

Minus a drink - unless you purchase it in the airport after you go through security.
We did that in Baltimore when we waited for our layover. We bought a sub from one of the places in the food court and carried it on the plane to eat when lunch hit.

Only if you bring enough for the whole plane.
