weather in October

Just wondering what the weather is like in October. We always go in April. thank you

Typically, quite nice. Days can still be humid though typically are more pleasant than early September. Evenings can even be cool enough to require a sweatshirt but, still, one can often go throughout the day and evening in tees and shorts.

This is part of hurricane season so one can't rule such a storm or, more likely a tropical storm which can cause some rainy days.

We love October. It's starting to cool down but still generally mid 80s. We also find the weather to be more moderate than April. We've been at various times of year and October is our favorite time.

It is still hurricane season as noted, but in 20+ years we have yet to have an encounter. It can happen but I wouldn't plan with any concern about a hurricane.

went in mid october... storms all around our week but when we go there not a drop of rain the entire 9 days. It was an awesome time! mid to lower 70's as well

We loved going last october and are going again this year. It wasnt nearly as hot as september but still warm enough to swim. Im not sure how it compares to april but I would recommend it. Plus you have the option of going to mnsshp and everything is decorated in fall decor which is beautiful.

We went late October two years ago, and it is now our favorite time to visit. The weather was perfect. We were there for 10 days, and 2 of the days were in the 90s, but the rest of the trip was in the upper 70s with not a drop of rain. Absolutely perfect!:mickey:
