I know they are doing a lot of work over in Toontown, but am just wanting to confirm if the Barnstormer is operating or not. It's one of my son's favorite rides, so I want to prep him accordingly for our June trip.

Thanks!:D

It's been closed for most of the year. It won't re-open 'til the end of the next year at the earliest with the rest of the re-themed ToonTown.

If you're interested, here's the original thread announcing the final days of Toontown:

That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure. Thanks everyone!

As to whether or not it is currently operating, I have no idea. BUT, they are keeping it for the Fantasyland expansion. They are going to re-theme it calling it "The Great Goofini". I am really looking forward to this, as The Barnstormer was always one of my favorites. Has anyone seen any concept art for it yet? :mickey:

You can't get anywhere near the "old" Toontown. It's wall city over there. Let your son down gently. ;)

I've seen pictures of the Beast's Castle online. Can you see it good in person? And how big would you say it is?

You can see Beast's Castle very well in person. It's really coming along. As far as how big it is, it's no where near the size of Cinderella Castle.

See this thread (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=180985) for some perspective.

I'm so excited to see it in person! I've seen pictures online, then I saw some on here with workers putting it up, and it was like size of a person? I've read it's supposed to be seen in the distance and not up close. And since the expansion is supposed to start opening 2012-2013, I'm guessing there won't be any way to ride or see the new version of the Barnstormer?
